These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Musical Note Studio, LLC (“Musical Note Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website, in-person and online teaching services, and our online program Music Theory: Cracking the Code. By using our website, enrolling in lessons, joining Music Theory: Cracking the Code, or signing up to receive text or email communications from us, you agree to these Terms.

Our Services

Musical Note Studio provides in-person piano, organ, and harp instruction, along with related studio programs (such as Theory Club and recitals), based in Chehalis, Washington. We also offer Music Theory: Cracking the Code, a self-paced online membership program for adult learners, accessed through a separate paywalled platform.

Studio Lessons and Enrollment

Enrollment in in-person lessons, scheduling, cancellation policies, and related studio expectations are governed by our annual studio policies agreement, which each family reviews and signs separately. These Terms do not replace or override that agreement; where the two overlap, the studio policies agreement controls for matters specific to in-person lessons.

Music Theory: Cracking the Code Membership

● Music Theory: Cracking the Code is offered as a recurring paid membership, billed monthly or annually as selected at signup.

● You may cancel your membership at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; we do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.

● We may add, update, or expand course content over time. Access to new stages or materials is included as part of your active membership.

● Payment is processed through a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full payment card information.

● This program is intended for adults. If we determine an account does not meet this requirement, we reserve the right to decline or discontinue access.

To cancel your membership: Click your profile icon within the Hub, then select Billing. From there, you can switch your plan or cancel your subscription directly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Text Messaging (SMS) Program

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages from Musical Note Studio, you agree to the terms below.

Types of messages you may receive (depends on what services you are using):

● Studio announcements

● Studio newsletters

● Recital updates

● Music Theory: Cracking the Code course-related messages, including reminders for Live Q&A sessions

We may expand the types of messages we send in the future (for example, individual lesson reminders). If we do, this list will be updated, and your consent will continue to apply to the general categories of studio and course communications described here unless you opt out.

Message frequency varies depending on studio activity and course updates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

To opt out of text messages at any time, reply STOP to any message. To get help, reply HELP or contact us using the information below. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrolling in lessons or purchasing any product or service.

We will not sell or rent your mobile phone number to third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle your information.

Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not use our website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website and within Music Theory: Cracking the Code — including text, video lessons, course materials, graphics, and the Musical Note Studio name and logo — is the property of Musical Note Studio, LLC unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without our permission.

Disclaimer

Our website and Music Theory: Cracking the Code are provided for informational and educational purposes. We do not guarantee specific results from lessons or course participation, as outcomes depend on individual effort, practice, and other factors outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Musical Note Studio, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, services, or Music Theory: Cracking the Code.
