Therapeutic Harpist

Karen has completed the intense training to become a Certified Music Practitioner (CMP). A CMP is certified through the Music for Healing and Transition Program (MHTP) whose standards meet the National Standards Board for Therapeutic Musician. She provides live therapeutic music with her 26 string Magical Strings Harp at the bedside of individuals to create a healing environment whether it is in the healing process as the result of surgery, chronic pain, or whether it is in the life/death transition period and providing comfort and assurance.

She has received many words of appreciation for her playing at the time of need; ie, “This is the most relaxed I have seen her in days.”
